Description

Breckwell Pellet Stove Distribution/Convection Blower.  This blower circulates air around the stove and across the heat exchanger.  It is responsible for transferring warm air into the room.  If your blower is not functioning correctly, it can greatly reduce the amount of heat you get from the stove!  If the blower is not moving the same amount of air as it once did it may need to be cleaned or replaced.

Important Notes:

This blower will not work with some older P2700 unitsThe mounting plate dimensions are 4″ X 4 3/8″

* Some of these blowers have arrived to us with the motor mounted on the blower housing 30 degrees offset from where it should be.  In most cases this will not cause an installation issue.  On some models it may make the motor tight to install.  The motor can be rotated on the housing by removing the blower wheel set screw and then accessing the 3 mounting nuts inside the housing.  Once it's free, rotate the motor so that the plastic casing on the coil is facing the rear of the blower then reconnect the nuts and blower wheel.*

Please see the instructions for resetting the blower speed when replacing your blower

Note: If you have an older Breckwell stove with mounting plate dimensions 5" x 5 1/2" you will need an adapter plate A-MP-KIT

Fitment Note: Some models of P1000 Big E stove require the blower motor to be rotated counter clockwise by one screw to fit. This is made easy by removing the impeller and then unscrewing the motor, then turning 1/3 turn, and reattaching it.

It is suggested to replace the high limit safety snap disc switch whenever you are replacing a room blower, C-E-090-21

Troubleshooting

-The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Often times this blower will become coated in dust and pet hair. If you feel like the blower is not moving as much air as it once did, the motor should be cleaned. If this does not resolve the issue the motor may need to be replaced.

-Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.

Excellent advice and perfect parts for our pellet stove

Your kind/patient representative answered all questions and provided great advice. I've ordered parts from you several times when our old Breckwell stove needed help. Each time the parts came very quickly and each time were the perfect fit and function. This time, especially, the part (a blower) is helping our stove work better than ever before...the high/low function works now and it never did before...the large house (upstate NY) didn't need anything to heat it today (snowing outside) other than our stove. Thank you! So good to know you're there to help so exceptionally well.

Ask a Question
  • Have an older Big E with a convection blower # C-E-033 is that different from A-E-033?

The only difference is that you original blower may have a soup can cover over the motor. Newer style has an exposed motor and a cooling fan (disc) on top. If this motor is too tall you can pop off the cooling fan.
