QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I'm looking for an exhaust/combustion blower replacement for my Whitefield quest freestand. I seen you have two that work. What is the difference between the two? (Shy of the amps draw)

One is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which includes the whole assembly, motor, housing and gasket that goes between housing and stove.
The other is an aftermarket bllower. Which is just the motor, with impeller and circular gasket that goes between the motor and the housing of the blower.

Most techs will replace just the motor instead of the entire assembly. There are 6 screws around the "quick release" plate that you loosen then twist slightly and lift off the old motor. Then reverse this process with the new motor.
