Description

ComfortBilt Pellet Stove Large Cleanout Gasket.  This gasket is used to create an airtight seal between the burn chamber cover and stove.  It is critical that you maintain a tight air seal inside your pellet stove.  Pellets stoves are designed to ignite and operate within a certain pressure range.  Making sure your gaskets are in good condition is one way to help your stove function as efficiently as possible.

Install Instructions For Comfort Bilt Large Cleanout Gasket: LARGE-CLEANOUT-GASKET

Gasket Installation Instructions:

1.) Locate the chamber covers.

2.) Unscrew both Wing Nuts holding the chamber cover in place.

3.) Remove the existing gasket (You may need to use a small putty knife or flathead screwdriver to scrape away the old gasket).

4.) Install the new gasket.

5.) Reposition the chamber cover and tighten both Wing Nuts (Make sure the chamber cover seats firmly against the unit).

Troubleshooting

Helpful Tips:

When cleaning out this area of the stove it is helpful to have a long narrow hose you can attach to your vacuum. Most of these chambers extend all the way up to the heat exchanger at the top of the stove. It is important that the entire chamber is cleaned from top to bottom.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.

Most orders over $99 qualify for free shipping! Orders which ship for free are shipped with either USPS or UPS based on our discretion. If you are using a PO box, free shipping orders will always go USPS.

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package from us. We do not offer expedited shipping of any kind to Canada. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.
