Blaze King Wood Stove Replacement Snap Disc.  This switch will activate once the firebox reaches a predetermined temperature.  Once activated, power will flow through the switch and the convection blower will turn on.  This switch allows the fan to kick on at just the right time maximizing the stoves efficiency.

Installation:

1.) Unplug the power cord.

2.) Locate the snap switch (On free standing stoves you may need to remove a side panel to gain access. On inserts you may need to pull the unit forward).

3.) Unplug both spade connectors from the active switch.

4.) Using a small screwdriver remove both screws holding the switch plate in place.

5.) Install your new switch into the recess.

6.) Reinstall both screws.

7.) Plug both spade connectors onto the new switch (The orientation of the wires on this switch does not matter).

8.) Reinstall the side plate.

9.) Plug the power cord back into the unit.

Troubleshooting Notes

Why isn't my fan working?

One way to tell if the snap disc is causing your problem is by jumping the switch. You can do this by removing both spade connectors going to the switch and placing your jumper wire in between. If the fan activates when the fan is plugged in there is a good chance your fan switch is bad.

This is a F110-20 made from a ceramic material which is high-heat tolerant. Because it's normally open, it's most often referred to as a fan switch. At ambient room temperature this switch is normally open or OFF and needs to detect heat to CLOSE to allow power to flow through the circuit. The switch will close at 90 degrees to restore power and will return to it's normal state at 110 degrees to cut power automatically. Failure of this switch happens when it stops opening or closing at the designated temperature thresholds.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package. Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times. All customs fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the total price. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.
