Install Instructions For Ashley (Pellet/Wood) Stove Feed Door Latch: 25080

Instructional Notes

1.) Open the main load door.

2.) Locate the nut and bolt securing the door latch to the body of the stove.

3.) Using a wrench, loosen and remove the nut on the inside of the firebox (It is a good idea to spray the nut with a product like PB Blaster or WD40 and let it set for several minutes prior to removal).

4.) Remove the bolt holding the latch in place (Pay attention to the position of the door latch prior to removal. The new latch will need to be positioned in the same orientation).

5.) Position the new door latch in place and reinstall the previously removed bolt.

6.) Reinstall the previously removed nut.

Troubleshooting Notes

-If the door is not sealing correctly inspect the gasket and check to see if the retainer nut on the door handle can be adjusted. If the gasket is in good condition and the retainer nut can not be tightened the door latch may need to be replaced.
