Ashley Distribution Convection Room Blower By Fasco, 80472-AMP

The Distribution Convection Room Blower serves two purposes. By circulating the room air through the stove's heat exchanger the stove provides heat to the room and this process also keeps the stove from overheating. If your stove is giving you an overheat error code OR if the room blower stays on at startup and will not feed pellets your room blower has either stopped working OR the blower wheel inside the housing of this blower needs to be cleaned out so that it can freely move enough air to keep the stove from overheating.

It is suggested to replace the high limit safety snap disc switch whenever you are replacing a room blower.

Compatible Models

1. Unplug the unit from the power source
2. Remove the rear panel, you may need to remove the venting from the unit depending upon your installation
3. Remove the side panel which has the the controller.
4. Disconnect all of the wires from the controller and set the panel aside
5. Remove the wires for the blower which is located behind the control area
6. Remove the blower mounting screws from the rear wall of the stove
7. Install your new blower with a new gasket
8. Reconnect the blower wiring
9. Reconnect the wires to the the controller (molex to molex fitting, brown wires to pressure switch BC3, BC4, white and gray wires to igniter tabs at J4 and J5, heat sensor to upper white terminal block) and then reinstall the panel.
10. Reconnect rear panel, venting and power cord.
