How This Part Works

Instructional Notes

1. Unplug your grill from the outlet.

2. Remove your six screws.

3. Disconnect the 5 wires from the original faceplate.

4. Plug your Internal Thermometer in. Followed by connecting the lettered wires to their matching letters.

5. Line up your controller with the holes and screw the faceplate back in. (2 screws.)

6. Use the remaining 4 screws to re-attach the bottom of your hopper

So far so good

Have not cooked with the new controller yet. It was easy to install. All the plugs were marked. I did heat it to 250 degrees and everything seems to be working fine. At this point I would highly recommend.

The way I did it was just remove the 4 outer screws. The bottom plate swung down. That allowed access to the wiring.
