Earth Stove Glass (15 3/4" x 9 3/8"): G2000-7-AMP

This is a replacement glass for Earth Stoves with Arch. The measurements of this glass are 15 3/4" x 9 3/8". All of our after-market glasses are pyroceramic glass that withstands high temperatures. Check your dimensions carefully. Several sizes were manufactured.

A Note About Our Glass: Unlike some manufacturers, we do not use tempered glass. Tempered glass should NEVER be used in a wood fuel stove, it is not suitable for high heat use. Our glass is made to resist very high temperatures up to 1,400° F / 760° C with low thermal expansion.

Instructional Notes

GLASS REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE (May Vary Depending On Model)

1. Ensure the appliance is not in operation and is thoroughly cooled. If possible, remove the door and set it face down on a soft surface like a towel or foam pad.

2. Remove the screws/bolts and glass retainers (It is a good idea to spray all retainer screws/bolts with a product like PB Blaster before attempting removal).

3. Remove the glass from the door frame (Pay attention to the position of the old glass gasket before removing the glass).

4. Install the new gasket in the same position as the original gasket. Trim to length and butt ends together.

5. Reposition the glass retainers and tighten the set screws/bolts. When replacing the glass make sure not to overtighten the screws and clips! It is best to tighten the retainer screws/bolts in a criss cross pattern.

Please open and inspect your glass to make sure that it has arrived intact. Damage Claims for broken glass from shipping MUST be made within 72 hrs of delivery, no exceptions. Glass breaking from after installation is NOT covered under warranty, this is due to improper installation. If you do not feel comfortable replacing your glass, please contact a licensed technician.
