Description

Replacement for models with the slide damper control at the center of the stove below the door.

Compatible Stoves:
 Englander, Summers Heat & Timber Ridge wood stove models 13-NC(I,C,L,P,G), 50-SNC13(I,C,L,P,G) & 50-TNC13(I,C,L,P,G)-with slide damper control at CENTER of stove below the door. Also, review item 2400A baffle that fits similar models with different damper control.

Material: Ceramic fiber alternative board which, unlike ceramic fiber, is not classified as carcinogenic or hazardous. Board is hard, strong, withstands 2100F, and is rigidized grey for added durability. Material is comparable to Superwool Plus, SuperMag, and Insulfrax.

Install Instructions For Englander Baffle Board: AC-13CFB-MH-AMP

Instructional Notes

(May vary depending on model)

1.) Make sure the fire is completely out and your stove is cool to the touch.

2.) Open the main load door.

3.) Locate the retainer clip and bolt on the first reburn tube.

4.) On most stoves 1-2 of the reburn tubes will need to be removed in order to take out the baffle board.

5.) Spray the bolts holding the retainer clips in place with penetrating oil and let them sit (PB Blaster or WD40 works well).

6.) Remove the first 1-2 retainer clips and reburn tubes (Normally, this will give you enough room to remove the baffle).

7.) Slide the old baffle out and position the new baffle in its place (Make sure the new baffle is positioned correctly. If it is too far forward it may cause issues with the burn).

8.) Reinstall any previously removed tubes and retain clips.

9.) Close the door.

Parts for my Englander wood stove are nearly impossible to find in Canada, especially on the west coast. I searched and searched for a local supplier to no avail. I did find what I needed at Stove Parts 4 Less and was very happy and relieved to find they shipped to Canada. I ordered the baffle on Jan 8 and it arrived today, the 15th. Super fast shipping even with the terrible weather the east coast is having. It's exactly what I needed and arrived undamaged because of the excellent packaging.
