Often when the drive/agitator motor is not turning, homeowners assume the motor has failed. While this can happen, it is important to check the safety switches on your stove prior to replacing the motor. On many units, an issue with the pressure, hopper, or high-limit switch can cause the motor to stop turning.

  1. What auger motor will fit my jamestown pellet stove, j2000 serial number WH-24667 built in 1991, it has a 1rpm motor now. But I do not know if OEM, but since I bought the stove in 95 I'm leaning that way. Please help, please advise... mike 8025910418 text or call

    All Jamestown Pellet Stoves use a 2 RPM Clockwise motor as far as I know. I've never seen one with a 1 RPM.
