Description

Replacement WiFi Control Circuit Board Assembly for the GMG Daniel Boone Choice model ONLY. Does not include meat probe.

A hole is needed for the meat probe to be accessible into the grill.

 

Note: After replacing your control board, the previous grill password will no longer work to connect to the GMG App. You will need to use the 8-digit S/N printed under the power switch. If the code is not present under the power switch, use code 12345678, this is the new grill password.

Version / SN Note: To see the boards version and the serial number: hold down the UP button, then power up for 15 seconds, you will see this information display on the screen of the control board.

Grill constantly disconnecting from phone app?

Ensure you grill remains plugged into the wall constantly so that the WiFi controller is not assigned a new IP by your router. This ensures that the app always looks for your grill under the same IP address!

GM wanted to charge me $230 for a Daniel Boone Control Board that these guys charged me $153. Same OEM part, less money, delivered relatively quickly and worked first try out of the box. Kudos to GM, very easy to disassemble and reinstall the part, although beware one plug was reversed from the original configuration.
