Description

This replacement Traeger hinge kit is designed to fit a Traeger pellet grill that uses the conventional hinge mounted on the left and right sides of the barrel, which slides into the receiving ends which are welded to the lid. The finish is the standard semi-gloss black powder coat. This kit includes both the right and left side hinges. Sold with mounting hardware.

  • Right hinge (HDW085) AKA HDW221
  • Left Hinge (HDW0086) AKA HDW222
  • QTY 4, #8-32 thread, black-oxide Phillips-head truss screws

Many people like to apply a gasket to their grill lid even though their model may not have come with one. This is very easy to do if you are replacing the hinges.

  • Use this adhesive gasket. Adhere it to the the under side of your lid all of the way around all 4 edges.
  • To accommodate for the thickness of the gasket, install two of these washers (QTY 4) between the hinge and the barrel on the lower hole on the hinge. Top hole will not get a washer, the bottom hole will get two washers. The screws provided for the hinges can accommodate the slightly raised height.
