Replacement Glass For Select Vermont Castings Wood Stoves.
Replacement For Models: Large Steel DW2000L02, DW1000P02, DW1500L02, DW2500X02, Windsor WR2000L02, Windsor WR1500L02
Dimensions: 17-3/8" × 9-11/16"
A Note About Our Glass: Unlike some manufacturers, we do not use tempered glass. Tempered glass should NEVER be used in a wood fuel stove, it is not suitable for high
heat use. Our glass is made to resist very high temperatures up to 1,400° F / 760° C with low thermal expansion.
Always use the factory recommended gaskets and fasteners to secure the glass in your stove. Some of our glass comes with gasket, others do not, please order accordingly.
Every stove is different, when removing your old glass, pay attention to the system your stoves uses to secure the glass. Take pictures of your old glass in stages as you remove it from the stove so that you have a reference of how the new glass needs to be reinstalled.
Use caution when tightening down the hardware. Fasteners should hold the glass in place. Think “snug” but not “tight”. The system must allow for expansion as the glass is heated. Overtightening fasteners, allowing the glass to “float” or move around, or allowing any metal on the door system to touch the glass will most always result in the glass breaking when the stove is heated.
A basic rule with stove glass:
The channels the glass is mounted in should be clean, flat, and free of debris.
Gasket material provides an airtight seal where the glass and stove meet, this prevents the glass from making direct contact with any metal on the stove.
Many stoves are equipped with and “air wash” to help keep the glass clean. This is usually accomplished by removing a section of the glass gasket at the top or the bottom of the glass. If you see a section of gasketing “missing” this is probably why.
When handling stove glass, wear gloves to prevent oils from your skin making contact with the glass. Gloves will also reduce the chance of any glass or gasket manufacturing debris from being absorbed into your skin.
Troubleshooting
Warranty
Please open and inspect your glass to make sure that it has arrived intact. Damage Claims for broken glass from shipping MUST be made within 72 hrs of delivery, no

your glass, please contact a licensed technician. For instructions on proper glass installation, please read the instructions provided in the instructions tab.
