      • How do you install gaskets in Vermont castings soves

        After removing old gaskets and clearing the channel of debris and old gasket cement, you can use a bead of hi-temp silicone or gasket cement in that channel. Place the new gasket into the channel. Don't stretch the gasket, because you want there to be a cushion to keep excess air from getting thru. Once you burn the stove it will fully cure the adhesive.
