Vogelzang Wood Stove C-Cast Fiberboard & Blanket Kit (TR001/TR001B): 2807C. The baffle boards and blanket are important parts of your unit. They redirect flue gases inside the stove and help to increase the temperature of the reburn tubes. If any of these items are missing or damaged, they should be replaced!

Instructions

Install Instructions For Vogelzang Wood Stove C-Cast Fiber Board & Blanket Kit (TR001/TR001B): 2807C

1.) Make sure the fire is completely out, and your stove is cool to the touch.

2.) Open the main load door.

3.) Locate the retainer clip and bolt on the first reburn tube.

4.) On most stoves, 1-2 of the reburn tubes will need to be removed to take out the baffle board and blanket (On some units, you may be able to carefully remove these items without removing any of the tubes).

5.) Spray the bolts holding the retainer clips in place with penetrating oil and let them sit (PB Blaster or WD40 works well).

6.) Remove the first 1-2 retainer clips and reburn tubes (Normally, this will give you enough room to remove the baffle and blanket).

7.) Slide the old baffle and blanket out.

8.) Position the new baffle and blanket in place (Make sure the new baffle and blanket are positioned correctly. If they are too far forward, it may cause issues with the burn).

9.) Reinstall any previously removed tubes and retain clips.

10.) Close the door.


Note: Some units may have a baffle support/retainer that will need to be removed and reinstalled.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
