Archgard Pellet Stove 1RPM (CCW) Auger/Feed Motor 305-0046-AMP.  The feed motor is responsible for driving the auger which feeds pellets into the burn pot.  If you are having feed-related issues and all other switches/sensors are operating correctly, you may need to replace the motor.

Unplug stove and remove the rear service panel. Locate the auger motors and remove the wire terminals from each motor. Stoves that were made prior to 2004 will have wires permanently attached to the motor and will need to be unplugged at the control panel. Each auger motor is held in place by a 5/16" (8mm) square set screw. Simply loosen this screw and the auger motor will slide out. Align the new motor so that the set screw is on the flat side of the auger motor shaft and tighten the motor in place.

Often when the drive/agitator motor is not turning, homeowners assume the motor has failed. While this can happen, it is important to check the safety switches on your stove prior to replacing the motor. On many units, an issue with the pressure, hopper, or high-limit switch can cause the motor to stop turning.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
