Breckwell Pellet (Stove/Furnace) 4-PRM CCW Auger Motor: 80529. The motor attaches to the auger and rotates at timed intervals. If your stove's auger motor is not rotating and all safety switches are operating as they should, the motor may need to be replaced.

Instructions

Install Instructions For Breckwell Pellet (Stove/Furnace) Auger Motor (4PRM CCW): 80529-AMP

1.) Make sure that your stove is cool to the touch.

2.) Unplug the unit.

3.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the auger/drive motor.

4.) After locating the motor, disconnect the wire leads connecting the motor to the wiring harness.

5.) Using a pair of pliers, remove the retainer pin that attaches the auger motor to the auger shaft (This should release the auger motor). On some motors, a set screw will need to be removed.

6.) Position the new auger motor in place (You may need to rotate the auger to line up the hole on the auger shaft with the hole on the stub of the motor).

7.) Install the previously removed retainer pin or set screw.

8.) Reconnect the wire leads to the wiring harness.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the unit and test the motor.

Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement.
