Ashley Pellet Stove Bushing Retaining Ring: 83534. This ring secures the auger bushing to the bushing plate. If your bushing fails to remain seated in the bushing plate and you have confirmed the plate and bushing are in good condition, you may need to replace the retaining ring.

Note: Some stoves may require multiple retaining rings. Sold individually.

1.) Access the bushing plate.

2.) Using a flathead screwdriver or similar tool, pry the old retainer ring up and remove it.

3.) Confirm that the bushing is seated properly in the bushing plate and press the new retainer ring over the auger bushing (Make sure that the retainer ring seats firmly against the bushing plate).
