Description

Replacement F110-20F Low Limit Snap Switch Thermodisc for PelPro pellet stoves that feature the DHC board. This limit switch is mounted on the exhaust blower housing and has 2 main functions:

  1. Should the fire happen to go out, for any reason, this limit switch will shut the stove off when the exhaust temperature drops below 120°F.
  2. Upon starting the appliance, the control board has a 15 minute “Lighting Mode”, if the stove exhaust does not reach 120°F in that 15 minutes the stove will shut off.

Troubleshooting Notes

This is a F110-20 made from a bakelite material which is high-heat tolerant. Because it's normally open, it's most often referred to as a fan switch. At ambient room temperature this switch is normally open or OFF and needs to detect heat to CLOSE to allow power to flow through the circuit. The switch will close at 90 degrees to restore power and will return to it's normal state at 110 degrees to cut power automatically. Failure of this switch happens when it stops opening or closing at the designated temperature thresholds.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects.
