Description
Blaze King Wood Stove Bypass Damper Handle (Black). This assembly has a black rod and a black wooden handle. Your catalytic wood burning appliance has a bypass device to allow the smoke from the fire to temporarily bypass, or go around, the catalytic combustor. The bypass door is located inside the firebox at the top of the stove. The bypass is a steel plate door, hinged inside the stove, and is controlled by the bypass handle.
2.) On some units, the handle will be secured by a set screw that will need to be removed. On others, the handle will be threaded onto the by-pass rod (If threaded, you will have to rotate the handle in a counterclockwise motion to unthread before removing it. Pay attention to the orientation of the handle prior to removing it).
3.) Install the new handle by threading it onto the bypass rod. If your handle has a set screw: position the handle and tighten the set screw (Make sure the handle is set in the correct orientation to allow for proper operation).

The bypass door is located inside the firebox at the top of the stove. The bypass damper is a steel plate door, hinged inside the stove. It is controlled by the bypass handle. This mechanism allows the smoke from the fire to temporarily bypass, or go around, the catalytic combustor.
Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers
make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please
be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
