Blaze King Wood Stove Thermostat Control (5" COIL): S.Z3005C.  This thermostat will automatically adjust airflow into the stove once set.  Air is fed into the main intake tube to ignite the wood.  Once the thermometer needle is in the "active" zone, set the thermostat to the desired position.

Install Instructions For Blaze King Wood Stove Thermostat Control (5" COIL): S.Z3005C

Install Instructions:

1.) Unplug the power cord from the unit.

2.) Make sure the fire is completely out and the stove is cool to the touch.

3.) Locate the thermostat.

4.) Remove the thermostat knob and any necessary panels (You may have to remove the side and rear panels to gain access to the thermostat).

5.) Using a utility knife or small flat head screwdriver cut the silicone bead holding the thermostat in place (Pay attention to how the silicone was applied to the old thermostat).

6.) Remove the thermostat. You may have to loosen the set screw on the adjustment rod to remove the thermostat (Take care to scrape away any old silicone that is attached to the unit).

7.) Run a bead of high temp silicone along the edge of the thermostat (Apply the silicone along the edges of the new thermostat in the same way it was applied to the old one).

8.) Seat the thermostat in place.

9.) Reinstall the thermostat knob and any previously removed panels (Make sure ample time is given to allow the silicone to set up. You do not want to move the thermostat and break the silicone seal).

Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement.
