Description

Breckwell Pellet (Stove/Furnace) Platinum RTD Sensor: 80531. This sensor mounts into the combustion blower housing and confirms that the fire has started, allowing the unit to transition from start-up mode to a maintenance burn. It also functions as a safety device by detecting abnormally high exhaust temperatures and automatically shutting down the unit if necessary.

Install Instructions For Breckwell Pellet (Stove/Furnace) Platinum RTD Sensor: 80531-AMP

Instructional Notes

1.) Confirm that the unit has cooled completely.

2.) Unplug the stove.

3.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the RTD probe.

4.) Unplug the wires.

5.) Remove the screw mounting the probe to the housing, and remove the old probe.

6.) Position the new probe in place.

7.) Using the previously removed screw, fasten the new probe to the housing.

8.) Connect the probe wires.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the stove.

11.) Run a test burn to confirm the stove is working as it should.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
