ComfortBilt Pellet Stove (4 PC) Replacement Vermiculite Refractory Panel Kit for the HP22. This vermiculite board is used to line the inner walls of a stove's firebox. This protects the stove from the effects of heat and to also increases the efficiency of the stove. It is important to inspect these panels regularly and make sure they are in good condition.
Install Instructions For Comfort Bilt Vermiculite (4PC): VERMI-HP22
Installation Instructions:
1.) Unplug the power cord from the unit.
2.) Open the main load door and side panels on the stove.
3.) Locate the rear and side refractory retainer clips.
4.) Remove the retainers using an Allen wrench (Note: The rear retainer can be loosened from inside the unit. You can access the bolts for the side retainers by opening the side panels of the stove).
5.) Remove the vermiculite refractory panels (Pay close attention to how each panel is positioned in the stove when removing).
6.) Place the new panels in position.
7.) Reinstall the previously removed retainer clips.
8.) Close all doors/panels.
9.) Plug the unit's power cord in.

Damaged, missing or cracked panels can allow excess heat to damage the stove. These panels should be inspected for damage on a regular basis.

make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please
