We sell Eco Choice / Heatilator replacement parts for the CAB50 pellet stove, including gaskets, switches and sensors, feed motors and augers and control boards, most of them shipping the same day.
One manual, three stoves
Hearth & Home Technologies printed one owner's manual for the Eco Choice PS35, PS50 and CAB50 pellet stoves. Only four of its pages are the CAB50's own parts diagram and tables; most of the other pages, and most of the parts, are shared across all three. If you own a PS35 or PS50, many of the parts on this page fit your stove as well, and each listing says which models it covers.
What this stove needs, by part type
- Exhaust blower. Two combustion blowers were fitted to this stove over the years, with different bolt patterns on the housing. Count the bolts on yours, four or five, before you order. The housing, impeller and both blower gaskets are sold separately.
- Convection blower. The room fan does not start until the stove has been burning about ten minutes; that is normal, not a fault.
- Igniter. The loop heating element sits in the igniter chamber under the firepot and is checked from the ash drawer.
- Switches and sensors. The vacuum switch, the three snap discs (each with its own temperature and job) and the hopper lid switch. The CAB50 has no hopper lid latch; its lid switch is closed by a magnet on the lid, so a missing magnet reads as a bad switch.
- Feed system. The feed motor, the hollow feed spring that is this stove's auger, the auger bearing, the feed motor gasket and the complete feed assembly.
- Firepot. The assembly, the firepot bottom and the springs. Clean it before you replace it: most no-fire complaints on this stove are a dirty pot.
- Control board, thermocouple and its two cover lengths, door glass and its rope gasket, and the power cord, fuse and thermostat. This stove will not run without a low-voltage thermostat connected.
- Gaskets. Door rope, firepot, feed motor and the two exhaust blower gaskets.
Before you order
Confirm your model from the plate on the stove and read the number off the old part where you can. The manual prints many part numbers without the SRV prefix the parts carry today, so search either form. The blower housing, the thermocouple cover length and the hopper lid switch are the three places the CAB50 differs from a look-alike. Not sure which part you need? Our repair video series for this stove walks through each one, and you can call or email us with your model number.
