Description
Replacement dual bulb glass and door gasket for most Enviro Gas Stoves, and select Enviro Pellet Stoves, see compatible.
Also called a tadpole gasket. Measures 10 feet long.
Fitment Note: For Empress FS and FPI, this gasket fits these units produced 05/2006 and older (old style door). If your Empress FS or FPI was made 06/2006 or later (new style door), you will require part number 50-088.

Changing the glass gasket
Open the face and remove door from the appliance by lifting door off of hinge pin and lay on a flat surface face down. Some stoves may require removing the upper louver.
Using a screwdriver, tap the bottom of the rope retainer rod to push it up out of the hole. The top end of the rod will slide up. Swing the rod toward you from the bottom and remove the rod. Repeat for other side.
Remove old glass and replace with new glass.
Slide the retainer rod into the top hole first, and then line up the bottom crimped end with the hole in the door. The crimped end must be parallel with the glass in order to insert it into place.
