Description

Replacement air sensor switch pressure hose for select Lennox and Whitfield pellet stoves. This hose connects to the outlet on the combustion motor housing to monitor air pressure within the stove for safe operation.

Install Instructions For Air Pressure Sensor Switch Hose (12"): H5898

From inside the mechanical area:

  1. Locate the pressure switch
  2. Remove the hose from the switch
  3. Blow through the hose to see if . the hose is clogged
  4. If you cannot blow through the hose, remove the hose from the port where it connects to the stove and clean out the fitting with a small tool, reconnect the hose and restart the stove

Troubleshooting

The pressure hose links to the stove and to a switch and can monitor the presence of low and high pressure. Depending on the stove, the switch acts as a safety mechanism to keep the stove from feeding fuel into a potentially dangerous situation, however; sometimes the ports where the hose connects to the stove can be become clogged and give a false error.


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
