How This Part Works

TIMBERLINES

  1. Remove all pellets from the grill.
  2. Remove side service panel.
  3. Remove the lid of the grill, by removing the top half of the hinges.
  4. Locate the Thermocouple wire cover, in between the hoper and the grill lid.
  • Remove this by removing one Phillips head screw.
  1. Remove the Thermocouple window on the back of the grill by removing 2 Phillips head screws.
  2. Locate the stainless steel clip holding the thermocouple wire in place.
  3. Remove the thermocouple by loosening the thermocouple bracket clamp screw.
  4. Inside the hopper locate the bright yellow thermocouple wire and gently pull old thermocouple out now that all fasteners are removed.
  5. Take new thermocouple wire and feed it into the opening of the back of the hopper.
  6. Feed the wire though the window on the back of the grill and up into the thermocouple bracket clamp.
  7. See drawing for specific length.
  8. Tighten clamp, put window back on, and put wire cover on.
  9. Connect thermocouple to motherboard following + and - symbols.
  10. Put smart combustion cover back on motherboard.
  11. Put hopper service panel back on grill.
  12. Reinstall lid.

IRONWOODS

  1. Remove pellets from the grill.
  2. Remove the hopper service panel with an impact a manual impact driver.
  3. Remove the lid of the grill.
  4. Locate the Thermocouple wire cover, between the hopper and the grill lid.
  • Remove this by removing one Phillips head screw.
  1. Remove the Thermocouple window on the back of the grill by removing 2 Phillips head screws.
  2. Locate the stainless steel clip holding the thermocouple wire in place.
  • Loosen the bolt on the silver bracket enough that the tip of the thermocouple can fit.
  1. Remove the thermocouple by loosening the thermocouple bracket clamp screw.
  2. Inside the hopper locate the bright yellow thermocouple wire and gently pull old thermocouple out now that all fasteners are removed.
  3. Take new thermocouple wire and feed it into the opening of the back of the hopper.
  4. Feed the wire though the window on the back of the grill and up into the thermocouple bracket clamp. 
  5. Insert the thermocouple through the base of the bracket and then slide the wire under the silver bracket.
  6. Tighten clamp, put window back on, and put wire cover on.
  7. Connect thermocouple to motherboard following + and - symbols.
  8. Put smart combustion cover back on motherboard.
  9. Put hopper access panel back on grill.
  10. Reinstall lid.

Most orders over $99 qualify for free shipping! Orders which ship for free are shipped with either USPS or UPS based on our discretion. If you are using a PO box, free shipping orders will always go USPS.

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package. Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times. All customs fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the total price. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii! We do not offer next day or two day shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Free shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.
