This high-quality grill dome thermometer is perfect for monitoring the grill temperature at a glance. It comes with everything needed to install including the lock nut. This thermometer sits above the lid surface and is not flush
If your lid does not have a pre-drilled hole to install this thermometer and you choose to drill a hole yourself, this will void any remaining warranty through Traeger. Drilling a hole in the lid is considered to be an unauthorized modification and will void your warranty.

Note: This thermometer is compatible with all NON-double walled insulated lids. For installation, if a pre-existing hole does not exist, one must be drilled. If your existing hole is 1/4" inches, you must resize the hole to 13/16" or 21 mm.

Replacement

Remove the pre-installed nut and washer from the thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the hole provided on the top-center of the main barrel door, then secure by re-installing the washer and nut from the interior side of the door. Rotate the thermometer so the text is level and upright.

New Installation

Measure the grill lid height and width to find the center. Using a 1/4" metal drill bit, make a hole through the lid. Secure Thermometer with provided washer and nut.

NOTE: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE THERMOMETER BY ROTATING THE DIAL. This will break the water resistant seal and can also remove the calibrated temperature out of spec.

The temperature of your unit is highly affected by ambient outdoor weather, quality of pellets used, flavor of pellets, and the quantity of food being cooked. Always monitor the temperature of your grill and the food being cooked.

Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package. Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times. All customs fees incurred are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the total price. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii! We do not offer next day or two day shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Free shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.
