Grilling just got smarter and easier with the Pit Boss Legacy WiFi and Bluetooth Controller. This controller upgrades most Pit Boss Grills with WiFi and Bluetooth technology, allowing you to use the Smoke iT app for total control of the grill from your mobile device. Using innovative wireless and mobile technology, the Pit Boss Legacy WiFi and Bluetooth Controller makes the already-simple Pit Boss grilling experience even easier, allowing you to access your grill from the palm of your hand from anywhere you have cell service. This unit also comes equipped with two meat probe ports, allowing you to get accurate, real-time food temperatures so you can get the recipe just right every time without even having to touch the grill.

Install Instructions For Pit Boss Legacy WiFi and Bluetooth Controller, 80015
  1. Remove the new controller from packaging.
  2. Take the disconnected four WHITE connectors and one BLACK connector from the bottom of the hopper (hanging loose) and string them up into the hopper, poking them out through the controller opening on the front.
  3. Prepare the new controller for wire connecting. Holding the new controller in front of the opening, match and connect all the connectors appropriately. Ensure the wires of each are connected firmly.
  4. Next, carefully tipping the top edge forward, insert the controller bottom edge into the hopper opening. Once the bottom three clips are all in position, tip the top edge of the controller into the hopper to lock the top three clips. The controller should sit firmly into position. No wires should be exposed through the front of the hopper.
  5. Take hold of the wires through the bottom of the hopper and fold them inside, behind the controller.
  6. After testing, re-install the hopper access panel to the bottom of the hopper. Fasten with the 4-8 screws.
  7. The grill is now ready to use as normal.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
