    NOTE: There can be exceptions to the list below. Some models made prior to 2016 were one-off promotional grills and may have been made with parts which are not 100% accurate to our descriptions. ALWAYS measure your auger shaft from end to end and compare it against our measurements.



    • Large Traeger Grills like the BBQ075 Series, Texas Pro, Texas Elite, Pro 34, Eastwood 34, and other grills with a barrel length of 34" made prior to 2018 use auger shaft, KIT0023/ SUB005
    • Mid-size Traeger Grills like the 22 Series, Century, Lil' Pig, Longhorn Steer , Executive, Professional, Mesa, Rolltop, and all grills with multiple burners, like XL and Double Trailer all use a 17" feed auger, KIT0022

    Install Instructions For Traeger Auger Screw (17"): KIT0022-AMP

    1) DANGER! Turn the Switch OFF (o) and disconnect the Power Cord.

    2) CAUTION! If the Grill is still hot, allow it to thoroughly cool.

    3) Remove any covers necessary to access the Auger Drive Motor.

    4) Remove the screw connecting the Auger Drive Motor shaft to the Auger shaft and the screw retaining the Auger Bushing into the Auger Tube.

    5) With a small pipe wrench or locking pliers on the Auger shaft, turn the Auger counterclockwise. It will turn hard until it breaks free, then the Auger will turn freely.

    6) Remove the Auger and clean all Pellets, ash or foreign objects from the Auger, Auger Tube, and Firepot. (See instructions for proper handling and disposal of ash in Section Five)

    7) Sand the outside surfaces of the auger with medium grit sandpaper. Check the inside of the Auger Tube and sand it if needed. Vacuum the sanding grit out of the Auger Tube and Firepot when finished. Check that the Auger rotates freely.

    8) Re-attach the Auger shaft to the Auger Drive Motor shaft.

    Troubleshooting

    Auger shafts can often bind up inside the feed tube if they become warped. This can happen if the pellets in the feed tube become wet. To verify if you warped, remove the shaft and roll it across a flat surface. If it is warped, you will notice the slight bend as it rolls.

    Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.

    We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package from us. We do not offer expedited shipping of any kind to Canada. Please allow an extra 2-5 days for all shipments to Canada. Free shipping is not available to Canada.

      had a cook planned for birthday celebration and got rescued. I received a new auger and auger motor in 3 days(pretty quick)..it was an exact match with easy install. Grill was smoking before lunch.

      Called cabelas to get a replacement auger and of course, they say i have the old model and they no longer make parts for it any more.
