USSC SS Multi Fuel Stove Agitator (10" X 1/2"): 891059. This stainless steel agitator rotates at timed intervals to reduce and prevent hard deposit formation in the burn pot. Replace if damaged or warped to maintain optimal stove performance.

Instructions

Install Instructions For USSC SS Multi Fuel Stove Agitator (10" X 1/2"): 891059

1.) Disconnect the power from the unit

2.) Open the door of the stove and locate the burn pot (The agitator is a stainless steel rod that sits inside the burn pot).

3.) There is a hairpin connecting the agitator to the agitator driveshaft.  This will need to be removed.  

4.) To remove the hairpin, grab the curved end with the pliers and pull it out of position.

5.) Next, slide the agitator to the right, then lift the burn pot and agitator slightly and slide the agitator to the left.

6.) Lift the agitator and burn pot up to remove them 

7.) Once the next burn pot agitator is removed from the stove, slide the agitator so that the longest side goes all the way out. Then, lift it slightly and slide it in the opposite direction to remove. 

8.) Take the new agitator and slide the longest side of the agitator through the opening on the side of the burn pot, lay it flat, then slide it in the opposite direction.

9.) Place the burn pot and agitator in the stove with the longest end pulled slightly to the left.

10.) Once placed in the pot housing, slide the agitator to the right through the opening, then to the left (The V-shaped lip just over the opening for the igniter goes toward the stove).

11.) Match up the end of the agitator and agitator driveshaft so that they fit together.

12.) Next, insert the hairpin so the two parts are connected.

13.) Once complete, close the door, reconnect your stove to power, and check for proper operation.

USSC replacement wear parts

The replacement parts were spot on. The generic fire box and generic igniter work flawlessly. The new stainless steel agitator is a great improvement over the stock. The original was a deteriorated mess with missing arms.
It’s so great to be able to get parts for my 11 year old pellet stove.
