Description

US Stove (Wood/Pellet) Stove Bottom Glass Retainer: 25465. This retainer helps secure the glass to the door frame. When tightening the retainer screws, it is best to work in a crisscross pattern. It is also important to "avoid over-tightening". Over-tightening or tightening in a clockwise/counterclockwise direction could cause your glass to crack.

Instructional Notes

REMOVAL OF BROKEN OR DAMAGED CERAMIC GLASS

1.) Open the door and lift off the hinges (If the door is tight, tap gently on the bottom of the door with your hand or rubber hammer).

2.) Lay the door down on a soft surface with glass clips facing you.

3.) Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws and take off the glass clips (It is a good idea to spray any fasteners with a product like PB Blaster before removal).

4.) Remove the broken glass carefully and discard it.

5.) Reverse the above procedure for replacing the new glass with a new gasket.
