Description

Vogelzang Pellet Stove Brass Bushing (Agitator/Stirrer) 891132. This bushing holds the auger shaft in position. A worn or damaged bushing may cause noise during operation. A failing bushing can also allow the auger to bind, leading to pellet jams and motor damage.

Install Instructions For Vogelzang Pellet Stove Brass Bushing (Agitator/Stirrer): 891132

Instructional Notes

1.) Remove the necessary side panels to gain access to the auger assembly.

2.) Depending on which bushing you're replacing, remove either the lower or upper bushing plate (There will be an upper and lower bushing).

3.) Once the plate is removed, use pliers or a flat screwdriver to pry the retainer clip up and off the old bushing.

4.) Install the new bushing in the plate (Make sure it is oriented correctly).

5.) Install the retainer clip (It is a good idea to replace the retainer clip at this time).

6.) Reinstall the previously removed end plate.

7.) Reposition and reinstall any panels you previously removed.

8.) Turn on the stove and run a test burn to confirm all parts are working as they should.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects.
