Find Your Stove Model / Serial #
To identify your specific wood, gas, or pellet model, locate the rating plate, which contains the serial and model number. Rating plates are located in different places depending on your model type:
Pellet Stoves: Inside or outside the hopper, behind the access panel, or side curtain.
Wood & Gas Stoves: On the back of the stove, inside the lower access cover, or in the pedestal base.
Wood & Gas Inserts: Under the ash lip or on the side of the firebox, inside the control compartment.
Wood & Gas Fireplaces: In the control compartment, on the firebox side column, or beneath the smoke shield.
Electric Fireplaces: On the ceiling of the firebox.

Q: Stove not working in room temp mode?
Q: Stove not working in room temp mode. It does work in stove temp mode. Any reason why?
A: Your room sensor may be the issue. First, check that the sensor is securely attached to the spade connectors on the back of your stove. Also, inspect the wire for any breaks or damage that may prevent the sensor from transmitting temperature data to the control board.
If your room sensor is in a warmer area (near baseboard heat or a sunny window), it may be reading a higher temperature than the rest of the room, preventing the stove from turning on. Additionally, if the room is already at the desired temperature, the stove will not start until the temperature drops.
