Install Instructions:

1.) Disconnect the power from the unit.

2.) Remove the rear and side panels from the stove. You may not need to remove all three panels.

3.) Disconnect both power wires running to the fan motor.

4.) Loosen the 4 Allen bolts attaching the mounting bracket to the stove and remove the fan assembly.

5.) Position the new fan assembly in place and reinstall the 4 previously removed Allen bolts.

6.) Connect the previously removed power wires to the tabs on the new motor.

7.) Reinstall any stove panels that were removed.

8.) Plug in the unit.


Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Notes

The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board, this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.

Check and see if the fan spins freely. The fan should spin freely in both directions with very little resistance. If the fan feels stuck or you feel resistance it usually indicates that the fan blade is not centered between the grommets.

If your distribution blower does not seem to be moving the same amount of air as it once did, inspect and clean the blower. Distribution blowers will often draw dust and pet hair into the blades of the fan when operating.

If the blower continues to rotate at a slower speed after it has been cleaned or you hear excessive noise coming from the fan it may need to be replaced.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects.
