Install Instructions For Englander Fiber Gasket For The Furnace Blower Motor: BM-1376-AMP

Instructional Notes

1.) Unplug the power from the furnace or turn off the breaker supplying power.

2.) Locate the bolts holding the blower to the rear of the unit.

3.) Loosen the bolts and remove the blower. If the wire supplying power to the motor is not disconnected, support the blower during this step.

4.) Hold the new gasket and blower in place and start to thread 1-2 bolts through the blower flange. This will help hold the gasket in place as you reposition the blower.

5.) Position the blower along the rear of the unit and reinstall the previously removed bolts.

6.) Plug in the unit or flip the breaker to restore power.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Notes

The convection blower gasket creates a seal between the blower and the body of the unit. This helps ensure that all air being circulated around the furnace is directed through the unit's heat exchanger. It is suggested that this gasket be changed if you are replacing the distribution blower or if it begins to show signs of deterioration.

Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for special parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times.
