Description
Hearthstone Wood Stove Front Door Latch for Heritage 8021, Tribute 8040 & Castleton 8030. The front door latch is an import part of the stove. This latch helps to create an airtight seal between the door and body of the unit. A worn door latch can can allow smoke to enter the room, reduce your stoves efficiency and cause the stove to over fire.

Great Replacement
This worked as a solid replacement to the original Hearthstone latch that came with my stove. The old latch had worn down over time and was no longer catching. This part was easy to swap out and fit nicely without any issues. It was great to be able to buy just the latch and not the entire handle assembly which would have been much more expensive. This was for a Hearthstone Heritage 8021 stove.
