Description

US Stove Company Wood Circulator Heater Grate: 40394. The grate sits in the bottom of the firebox on the grate supports. It allows air to reach the base of the fire and lets the ash drop down into the pan. If you see holes/cracks forming or notice that the grate is starting to warp, it should be replaced!

    Instructions

    Install Instructions For USSC (Wood/Coal) Circulator Heater Grate: 40394-AMP

    1.) Make sure your unit has completely cooled.

    2.) Open the cabinet door.

    3.) Next, open the feed & ash pan doors.

    4.) Reach in through the feed door and pull up on the grate.

    5.) While pulling up on the grate, reach your other hand through the ash door opening and slide the grate out of position towards you (Pay attention to the orientation of the grate).

    6.) To install the new grate, slide it into position through the ash pan door using one hand. At the same time reach in through the feed door opening with your opposite hand and position it back onto the grate supports.

    7.) Close the ashpan door and feed door.

    8.) The cabinet door can now be closed.

    Troubleshooting

    The grate is an essential part of your unit. It needs to be cleaned regularly. Overfiring can cause tremendous damage to the grate, affecting the function of your stove. Preventing overfire conditions can lengthen the life of the grate. If you see holes/cracks forming or notice warpage starting to occur the grate should be replaced!

    Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
