Description

This round 7/8" thick, black-colored gasket is sold in five-foot increments. Consult your stove manual to find out how many feet you will need. Be sure to round up! This gasket is Low Density. In order to install this product, you will also need gasket cement or mortar (sold separately).

Note: This gasket requires the use of gasket cement for installation.

Install Instructions For 7/8" Round Black Medium Density Gasket - Sold in 5' Increments

GLASS REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

1. Ensure the appliance is not in operation and is thoroughly cooled.

2. Remove screw and glass clips.

3. Remove the glass from the door frame.

4. If the glass is broken, carefully remove and discard each broken piece to avoid cuts. Discard window gasket.

5. Replace the new gasket starting at the bottom of the glass and working along the edges Be sure to center the gasket channel on the glass.

6. Trim to length and butt ends together.

7. Perform replacement procedure in reverse order after replacing glass and gasket.

8. When replacing the glass be not to overtighten the screws and clips!

Troubleshooting

It is important that there is a good seal between the door and the body of your stove. A poor seal can cause ignition issues, burn problems, and allow smoke to enter the room. If you are having an issue where the door doesn't seal properly, adjusting the handle or door latch may resolve the issue. If the problem persists or you notice that the gasket is damaged, the gasket should be replaced!


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.

Lopi door gasket and silicone glue

Thanks to Billy for advising me to buy a tube of their high-temperature silicone glue for attaching a new rope gasket to the door of my Lopi Pioneer pellet stove! It was a quick and easy job, but make sure to clean the door gasket surface thoroughly before applying the glue. It was an unusually warm day, so I left the stove off with the door open so it could dry overnight. ‐ Dale R.
