Description

Replacement Capacitor for ComfortBilt Pellet Stoves.  The Capacitor is used in conjunction with the auger motor.  It helps store and ramp up power to assist the auger motor during start up. The auger motor does not have a built-in capacitor and needs this part to function correctly.

Install Instructions:

1.) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

2.) Remove the rear and side panels of the unit. You may only need to remove one panel.

3.) Locate the capacitor. It can be found on or near the wiring harness for the auger / feed motor.

4.) Unplug and remove the old capacitor.

5.) Plug in the new capacitor connector.

6.) Reinstall the side and rear panels.

7.) Plug the unit's power cord back into the wall outlet.

Helpful Tips:

The Capacitor is used in conjunction with the auger motor.  It helps store and ramp up power to assist the auger motor during start-up. The auger motor does not have a built-in capacitor and needs this part to function correctly. While it is possible for this part to fail there are several things that should be checked prior to replacing this component if your feed system is not operating correctly.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
