Instructional Documents:

This is the OEM direct replacement exhaust blower that comes complete with motor and housing.

Other parts from your existing blower will need to be reused: the F120-10 low limit switch and the Mfg. tail pipe that connects to the venting. The housing can be removed and replaced by removing the 5 7/16" screws and nuts that are around the perimeter of the housing.

****CAUTION*****

The older PelPro pellet stoves use 120V of current through all of the SWITCHES AND COMPONENTS in these stoves. 

ALWAYS unplug your stove prior to any work within the mechanical cabinet. 

PLEASE NOTE: ACCUTRON I, II, III AND IV CONTROL PANELS USED ON OLDER PELPRO MODELS DO NOT HAVE A SAFETY FUSE!!!!! IF YOU TOUCH THE BACKSIDE OF THE CONTROLLER WITH ANYTHING CONDUCTIVE AND YOU DIDN'T UNPLUG THE UNIT OR YOU ATTACHED WIRES IN THE WRONG LOCATION, THE CONTROLLER WILL SHORT OUT AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SOME MODELS...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Troubleshooting

Open circuit voltage is measured with the blower disconnected from the wire harness. Closed circuit voltage is measured with the blower hooked up to the harness. The medium and low voltages will be 115v for the first 4:15 if the unit has the new control box (part 230-2070). Minimum voltage to the motor should never be less than 74v. If so, replace the control box.

If your motor runs hot to the touch or vibrates, typically this means that the motor needs to be replaced. There are instances where a controller may be sending a modified signal to the motor. Before replacing the motor, bench test the motor with 120 volts directly from a test cord, see if the blower still operates the same way. If the performance improves, such as less hot and no vibrations, replace your controller, otherwise replace the motor.


Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
