i bought these as backups. Door gasket, temp sensor and ignitor. I bought the extra temp sensor primarily as a backup because I wanted to extend my existing sensor.backup in case that failed. all good. The forums recommend you replace the door gasket whenever you do other major maintenance, so I have one on hand now.
Does the room sensor also need an external thermostat or does the controller of the stove sense and use the room sensor.
The room sensor works with the controller. No external thermostat is required.
