Description

This Quadrafire convection blower is used on a variety of Quadrafire stoves and inserts for pellet, wood, and gas. The convection blower has the dual purpose of warming the room with the heat from the stove and keeping the stove or insert from overheating.

This blower is controlled by by Snap Disc #1 in all pellet applications. If the Snap Disc #1 has failed in the open position the blower will not get power. Always bypass snap disc #1 prior to ordering a new blower to troubleshoot the switch.


  • CB1200i Classic Bay Insert - Snap Disc #1 SRV7000-829 (Convection Blower) 125°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the firebox. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.
  • CB1200 Freestanding - Snap Disc #1 SRV230-0060 (Convection Blower) 145°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the appliance on the top of the heat exchanger box. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.
  • Contour, Castile, Santa Fe - Snap Disc #1 SRV230-0470 (Convection Blower) 110°F Snap disc #1 is located on the right side of the firebox. There are 2 purple wires connected to it. This snap disc turns the convection blower on and off as needed. Power is always present at snap disc #1.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Amazing service and prices

I’m a DYI kind of guy. An engineer by trade so I know quality when I see it. They use Fasco motors. These are USA made and very high quality. They are also best suited for use in equipment like this. High heat kills motors especially the bearings. These motors will last for countless years. The price is lower than anyone out there selling Chinese garbage motors too! 5 Stars!

Quadrafire Santa Fe Convection Blower

Other than having to gently pry the fiberboard pad off the bottom of the original blower, it fit 100% like the original. The fiberboard pad is necessary to get the clamp that holds the blower tight. The fiberboard pad is not listed in the parts list.

replacement blower for Quadrafire pellet stove

Arrived as usual well ahead of the eta. Hardest part of the replacement was not the blower ass'y install, but trying to figure out how to get into the back of the stove when it sits only 8" from the wall. Actually, easy once I got into it from the side. Blower was held in place by a single wing nut on a magnetized plate, unscrew the nut and lift out the unit, clearance was whopping 1/8". Slides out the side with again enough space. Replacement is almost easier.
AND, the new Fasco unit is so-o-o-o much quieter that I was afraid it wasn't working, until I turned it up to high. Still much quieter, than the old one.
