Description

This Molex connection kit is rated for usage with 18 to 24 AWG wire. The connector housing requires the use of male Molex metal pins and female Molex connectors. The receptacle housing will contain the female Molex pins, and the plug housing will contain the male power connectors.

Install Instructions For Pellet Grill Molex Style Wiring Harness Connector Pin Socket Kit

Begin by using a wire stripping tool to strip back enough wire, ensuring proper connection when crimping on the power connectors. The amount of exposed wire should not exceed the length of the power connectors insulation and crimp zone, which is 5mm. Therefore, the optimal length of exposed wire is 1/8" or 2.5 mm (the length of the crimp zone).


There are two sets of tabs that need to be folded over, the first set which is closest to the tip is to hold the wire and the second tab closest to the wire is for the wire sheathing.


The male post pins are installed into the female socket and the female sleeve pins are installed into the male socket.

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.
