Description

USSC Pellet (Stove/Furnace) Platinum RTD Sensor: 80531. This sensor mounts into the combustion blower housing and confirms that the fire has started, allowing the unit to transition from start-up mode to a maintenance burn. It also functions as a safety device by detecting abnormally high exhaust temperatures and automatically shutting down the unit if necessary.

Instructions

Install Instructions For USSC Pellet (Stove/Furnace) Platinum RTD Sensor: 80531-AMP

1.) Confirm that the unit has cooled completely.

2.) Unplug the stove.

3.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the RTD probe.

4.) Unplug the wires.

5.) Remove the screw mounting the probe to the housing, and remove the old probe.

6.) Position the new probe in place.

7.) Using the previously removed screw, fasten the new probe to the housing.

8.) Connect the probe wires.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the stove.

11.) Run a test burn to confirm the stove is working as it should.

Warranty

Unfortunately, sometimes products do not work like they are supposed to. We offer a 90 day warranty on manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. Please be advised that warranty claims for these parts may take up to 4 weeks for processing, and customers must cover shipping.

Most orders over $99 qualify for free shipping! Orders which ship for free are shipped with either USPS or UPS based on our discretion. If you are using a PO box, free shipping orders will always go USPS.

Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times.
