Description

USSC Pellet Stove (Convection/Room) Blower. The convection blower is responsible for circulating air around the stove and into room.  If the blower is not working as it should, the amount of heat transferred from the unit into your home may be reduced. A malfunctioning blower can also cause high-limit switches to trip and error codes. If the fan has been cleaned thoroughly and is not moving the same volume of air as it once did, it may need to be replaced.

Fitment Note (KP60-XH): This blower fits the KP60-XH (extended hopper) version, it DOES NOT fit the standard KP60. The standard KP60 requires part 80834.

Instructions

Install Instructions For US Stove Convection/Room Blower: 80709

1.) Unplug the unit and make sure it is cool to the touch.

2.) Remove the necessary panels from the unit to allow access to the convection blower (You may need to remove the side panel in addition to the rear panel).

3.) Disconnect the power wires leading to the blower.

4.) Remove the screws attaching the blower housing to the unit (*Pay special attention to the orientation of the blower and any grommets/spacers. The replacement blower needs to be positioned in the same way!*).

5.) Position the new blower assembly in place and reinstall the previously removed screws.

6.) Reconnect any previously removed power wires.

7.) Reinstall any previously removed panels and plug in the unit.

Troubleshooting

-The distribution blower is the fan responsible for blowing hot air into the room. Often times this blower will become coated in dust and pet hair. If you feel like the blower is not moving as much air as it once did, the motor should be cleaned. If this does not resolve the issue the motor may need to be replaced.

-Many stoves are also equipped with a high-limit sensor. If your high-limit sensor is tripping or you are receiving a high-limit error code on your board this may indicate that the blower is not moving as much air as it should.

Great parts in little time

The bearings were going out on my pellet stove fan and it was the middle of winter. They got me a good quality fan in very little time. Fast and easy.

Thanks guys!
