Description

Vogelzang Pellet Stove Igniter Flange Gasket (VG5790 & VG130): 88118. This gasket seals between the igniter housing flange and the rear of the unit.  If you have a poor or damaged seal in this area, it may cause ignition issues.

Instructions

Install Instructions For Vogelzang Pellet Stove Igniter Flange Gasket (VG5790 & VG130): 88118

1.) Confirm that the stove has completely cooled and unplug the unit.

2.) Remove the needed panels to gain access to the igniter.

3.) Disconnect the igniter power wires.

4.) Using a socket, remove the two bolts securing the igniter weldment to the rear of the unit.

5.) Remove the igniter weldment and discard the old gasket.

6.) Reposition the new gasket on the igniter weldment and slide it into position.

7.) Secure the igniter weldment to the rear of the unit using the two previously removed bolts.

8.) Reconnect the igniter wires.

9.) Reinstall any previously removed panels.

10.) Plug in the unit and confirm that the stove is operational.

Some manufacturers make this a very simple and easy process unfortunately others do not. Items must be used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines to qualify for warranty replacement. We ship to Canada! We estimate USPS to take 4-10 days once receiving your package. Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times.
