Description

Ashley Pellet Stove Replacement Door Handle. The door handle attaches to the door latch.  This allows the main door to seal tightly against the front of the firebox.  A tight seal around the door is critical for the stove to burn properly.  If the gasket has been replaced, but you're not able to get a good seal, the door handle may need to be replaced.

Note: The spring handle and roll pin (⅜" x 1¼") are not included.

*You will need a 5/16" nut driver (or another object similar in diameter) and a hammer.*

1.) Open the main door.

2.) Place the nut driver on one end of the roll pin and gently tap the end of the driver with the hammer (This should knock the roll pin out of place and release the door handle).

3.) Position the new handle into the door frame.

4.) Line up the roll pin and gently tap it back into place. (If the roll pin is damaged or doesn't fit tightly, it may need to be replaced).

-The door handle attaches to the door latch. This allows the main door to seal tightly against the front of the firebox. A tight seal around the door is critical in order for the stove to burn properly. If the gasket has been replaced, the door latch is in good condition but you are not able to get a good seal, the door handle may need to be replaced.

Note: The spring handle and door pin are not included
