Description

Avalon Arbor (Pellet / Wood) Stove Door Glass: 250-00142. The glass allows you to view the fire while also helping to transfer heat into the room. If you notice a haze forming on the glass or cracks starting to form, it should be replaced.

Measurements: 11" x 8 3/8" 

 

 

A Note About Our Glass: Unlike some manufacturers, we do not use tempered glass. Tempered glass should NEVER be used in a wood fuel stove, it is not suitable for high heat use. Our glass is made to resist very high temperatures up to 1,400° F / 760° C with low thermal expansion.

Install Instructions For Avalon (Pellet / Wood) Stove Door Glass: 250-00142

Install Instructions For Avalon Medium Wood Stove Glass (16-3/4" x 9-1/2"): 99400299-AMP

1. Ensure the appliance is not in operation and is thoroughly cooled.

2. Remove screws and glass clips.

3. Remove the glass from the door frame.

4. If the glass is broken, carefully remove and discard each broken piece to avoid cuts. Discard the window gasket.

5. Replace the new gasket starting at the bottom of the glass and working along the edges (Be sure to center the gasket channel on the glass).

6. Trim to length and butt ends together.

7. Perform the replacement procedure in reverse order after replacing the glass and gasket.

8. When replacing the glass, do not to overtighten the screws and clips!

Please open and inspect your glass to make sure that it has arrived intact. Damage Claims for broken glass from shipping MUST be made within 72 hrs of delivery, no exceptions. Glass breaking from after installation is NOT covered under warranty, this is due to improper installation. If you do not feel comfortable replacing your glass, please contact a licensed technician. For instructions on proper glass installation, please read the instructions provided in the instructions tab.

Please note, we are unable to track US Postal packages once they cross the US border and cannot guarantee shipping times.
