Description
Blaze King SC25 Analog CAT Thermometer. The catalytic thermometer is located in the lower left-hand corner of the outer shroud. Its purpose is to show you if the combustor is active. Always operate the appliance when the needle is in the active red zone. When the combustor is not active the appliance will emit smoke and will not be efficient.
1.) Remove any face place or shroud components covering the thermostat.
2.) Unscrew the fasteners holding the thermostat in place and remove (Pay special attention to the route the thermostat wires take and the position and location of the probe).
3.) Position the new thermostat in place and reinstall the previously removed fasteners (Take care to follow the same path the previous wires were running and to position the new probe in the same way).
4.) Reinstall any previously removed plates or shrouds.

If you are not getting a reading or the thermometer is showing a low or inaccurate temperature, check the connections on the back of the thermostat. If the connections look good, it is possible the thermostat will need to be replaced.
